Since my last blog it has been crazy here in South Africa as everybody was getting ready for the World cup kick off. There have been concerts, dances and other things to help get ready for the world cup 2010 but enough about that. Massi has been pretty good recently by this I mean the staff are learning to accept that we are there to help them not to tell them what to do. The children that come to the centre are so grateful to have somewhere to go to after they have finished school and they know that they can have a good meal there before returning home at the end of the day. I recently learned that someone i had known from the centre for a few weeks has got HIV and has had it for seven years. This was shocking to hear as you would never have asked and she doesn't let it bother her with her work. She is still so committed to her work and her three children every day.
